About The Artist
Noemi Rochelle Fleming is an illustrator who currently resides in Southern California.
She graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Political Science and an Art minor. She also holds an MBA graduate degree. She is a world traveler and speaks fluent Spanish and French.
Noemi usually works with water colors and digitally. She incorporates bright colors, patterns, and textures into her work, and strives to come up with big, larger-than-life characters for children’s picture book stories.
Her biggest influences are all things whimsical and abstract related, fairy tales, film, the woods she grew up next to and, of course, illustrators from her childhood. Noemi can usually be found in a little corner near the ocean doing art with her daughter.
